Drummer - soundproofing garage?

My son is a drummer.
Has anyone else soundproofed their garage for a practice room, what did you use and is it fit for purpose?
Ideally I need no/very little sound to escape.

Daughter is a drummer. She has a high spec electric kit at home and uses the acoustic kit at school or one in a rehearsal space if needed.

Yes, he has a good mesh kit at home but would like to use his acoustic kit too.

DD’s teacher has a soundproofed studio in his garden. The walls are about 2ft thick and he has quadruple glazed doors and sound deadening panels on several walls. Cost a fortune, but he’s a professional drummer.
