Flat ballet shoes - any recommendations?

For my dd 12. Needs split sole ballet shoes. Her last ones have lasted ages and can't remember where I got them from. Have just ordered some canvas ones and don't fit nicely at all. What makes do you buy?

The So Danca SD16 split sole stretch canvas with criss cross elastics pre-sewn. Her dance teacher prefers them, and they do seem to look good on pretty much everyone.

Do they come up small? Sometimes they say to size up.

They do come up small (all ballet stuff does!) - dd sizes up by 1.5 sizes.

It really depends. My daughter has wide feet so tended to go for Bloch and a couple of other brands I can’t remember. Others at her school with narrower feet preferred Capezio.

Your Dd really needs to go try some on at a shop.

Bloch SD16 here too. Pretty much all of our dance school wear them.

We don't have a dance shop anywhere near us unfortunately :-( it's so annoying having to send things back all the time.

I was coming to recommend the So Danca too they also come in a wide fitting. They are my DE's first choice and acceptable in professional training.
