SCIENCE CAMPS?

My son seems to show a particular interest in all things science and space, nasa etc.

This is not my area at all, but I'd really like to nurture his enthusiasm as he's not hugely interested in other things, and his older brother slightly overshadows him in other areas so I'd really like to encourage this passion.
Are there any summer camps/day course that I could enrol him on that might be appropriate? He's year 5 (9)

My child went on a mad science one recently. Think they are in South West and Wales

Whereabouts in the UK are you?

Perhaps worth connecting with your local science museum or the Space Centre in Leicester or the one in Winchester, or hands on science places like We the Curious or Techniquest?

Locally to is there are quite a few science club providers who do workshops in the school holidays at local arts and museum centres etc

DS did an after club run by Mother Nature - they also do science camps in school holidays. Not cheap but you can use childcare vouchers, and they are 8-4 for 5 days so does give you some time back.
