Singing teacher Horsham

Hi,

I am looking for a singing teacher for my children in Horsham. Both children are on Grade 1 level. I tried to find one on the internet but most are fully booked or have slots that we cannot commit.

Anyone who can suggest a teacher for me?

Try looking at tutors online. I found a French one that way, check references too and be sure to literally insist on a up to date DBS check as well. Also pay attention to reviews and interview a few in order to find the perfect one. Check out a few profiles first to see what other people think of tutors and then go from there really. Do interview some properly over the phone etc about skills and qualities.

Maybe see if one of the peripatetic teachers at Christs Hospital might come to you after teaching at school? They had a lot of singers so have a few singing teachers

If you're already in touch with some teachers, then could you ask them if they can recommend anyone else? That's how we found our best instrumental teachers. Bonus points if it's someone they send their own children to.

That said, do you need an individual teacher at grade 1 level or would a choir do? Most kids I've come across who do singing have sung in choirs first then picked up individual lessons at a later stage.

Discover and Be are a tutoring service in the area that offer private music lessons. DS has piano lessons with one of their teachers and the standard of teaching is fantastic. I think they also offer singing lessons.
On the other hand steer clear of Love Music. Very unreliable and almost no progress made whatsoever!
