Looking for drum recommendations

Can anyone recommend an electric drum kit for a beginner. DS has decided he'd like to learn, he plays the piano, guitar and bass guitar so while he's a beginner I'm pretty sure he will stick at it.

I'm happy to replace in a year if he loves it with a better set.

alesis electric kits are brilliant and cheap for beginners. you can play with headphone or speakers and it has a huge range of different drums, some also come with metronomes and short lessons they are fab. if u need more info on drums pm me i am a drummer
