NCO auditions

I’d appreciate some advice from those who have made audition videos. I’m confused by conflicting advice. In the NCO video advice the chap is standing against a blank background in a waist up shot with his bassoon. However in a recent NCO email in their Things to Consider they ask for head to toe shot of child and instrument with music stand to the side. Is someone able to clarify what they submitted. Thanks

We’ve generally done head to toe shots, though a partial shot is fine.

Main thing is for NCO to be able to see the instrument being played. For trumpet, ours stands slightly sideways so that the video captures the valves and lips.
