Drums - too young

Hi all

I have a just turned five year old who is DESPERATE to learn the drums. I’ve no problem with it and quite want to encourage him down this path as he really loves music.

My only concern is that he might be a bit young and I don’t want him to become discouraged purely on the basis it might be starting too soon. Any thoughts/advice?

Ds started at thst age and it was fine - so long as the teacher is on board then i say go for it

Dd started here at 5 too- still playing, still loves it. Go for it, just make sure you pick a teacher who knows how to teach small children
