ABRSM result Appeal

Wondered if anyone has appealed an ABRSM result before, and in particular a result from the new Performance Grade exams? If so, did ABRSM uphold the examiners markings or change the result in your favour? How long did the review process take? Thanks

No, sorry. Why do you feel You should appeal? On what grounds? I thought examiner's decision was final?

Trinity Grade 8 piano here. Appealed when my son got one mark over a pass mark for the first round of performance exams in summer 2020. Historically he had received all distinctions.

Appealed and the mark went up 17 points to just off a distinction. The senior reviewing examiner agreed the marking had been far too harsh.

There is a really good Facebook group called ABRSM Exams, I’ve seen posts on there about appeals for the performance exam and marks being changed including one person who got 7 extra marks and they rewrote the mark sheet.
