My dd is 33MO. She's pretty active and although she will play nice and sit and read a book/imagination play etc she also has oodles of energy. She's frequently jumping off the sofa/jumping on the bed/doing forward rolls etc. I have her doing dancing and cheerleading and gymnastics (although they're not currently running) and she loves them all. I'm basically wondering what I can do with her at home that will complement these things if that makes sense. We obviously do the usual climbing at the park and she rides a scooter/balance bike etc. We're also going to get her a trampoline later next year (avoided so far as I read they're not great for young toddler's bones) I've also got her doing 'bunny hops' as a precursor to a cartwheel. Asides from this I dunno what I can or should be doing with her though? Am I best leaving the actual skills to the experts? Are there other things I can do to help her imorove core strength etc. I just want her to challenge that energy into something fun and useful is all and I'm not remotely athletic myself so have no idea lol xx
