Creative After School Clubs

Hello everybody,

I'm doing some research and I wondered what people's thoughts were about the quality of afterschool clubs - inparticular Primary school in the creative area. I am thinking about this as there is such a strong link between creativity and wellbeing. What do you think of what is currently on offer, is it creative enough, are there any areas that you think are missing, is there anything that you would like to see? For example skills like knitting, sewing practical skills like that. Do you think schools should provided this or would you be prepared to pay a small fee?

I'd really love to hear what you think.

There is definitely not enough provision for this where we live.
None of us are creative in my house except my youngest so have been looking around for such clubs.
I would pay for it if such club is available locally or if the school has one.

I am currently looking for an after school club that teaches arts and crafts for my daughter. My daughter is very good at art but we are unable to find anything in our local area which is really disappointing. I would happily pay for an art class if there was one available. We live in Canvey Island
