My DD has been offered a place at the Junior Department of Trinity Laban. Her first instrument is the violin and she also plays the piano. She is going to be 13 in June. We tried for RAM, RCM, and Guildhall. She was desperate to get into Guildhall but she sadly did not make it. Does anyone have any experience of Trinity and can give advice? It is a long commute for us and I have mixed feelings about it. I have heard from a few people the standards are not very high so I would love to hear from someone who knows a bit more about it. The option would keep working on her violin technique and take grade 8 this year and try again next year? I look forward to hearing from you all lovely mums!
