Hi all,
First Time Mum over here.

I’m looking at booking a course of parent and child swimming lessons for my daughter (4 weeks) and wondered if anyone had any recommendations or tips for what to look for?

I’m in Rotherham and am currently looking at TurtleTots and Puddleducks, but have been told there are some smaller privately run groups around if you know where to find them. Has anyone in this area used a really great course that they’d be able to recommend?

Hi,

I live in Sheffield and I started swimming lessons with my son at 8 weeks we swim with waterbabies they are really good and have a few different pools they use,

If not I have noticed when I take him swimming at some pools have there own lessons so maybe ask your local pool?

Really recommend swimming with your little one mine loves it

Just make sure the water is warm enough. Very young babies will go blue very quickly.
Some of these private company are very expensive and you may feel obligated to stay in the water for longer than is necessary.
Sometimes 10 mins is all that's needed for a very small baby.
It's a great way to get out of the house, make friends and gets some skills going. Just keep an eye on baby's temperature. A lovely and warm hydrotherapy pool will be perfect.

( I'm a baby swim teacher)
