Trombone book for a beginner

DS1, who is 10, has been learning the trombone at school for a year now. He's enjoying it and seems to be progressing ok (I find the teacher a bit flaky, and there seem to be lots of short / missed lessons, but that's another issue....).

However he's never had a proper book, just single pieces on a sheet of paper, and I was wondering about buying one for him to try over the holidays, preferably with a CD so he can play along to an accompaniment. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, My DD's first trombone books included:
Easy Winners by Peter Lawrence - comes with a CD
Easy Jazzy 'Tudes by Mark Nightingale - comes with a CD
First Book of Trombone Solos edited by Peter Goodwin and Leslie Pearson
and
The Magic Trombone Edited by Nicholas Hare
One of more of those may be suitable?

Thank you! Have hsd a look, and they look ideal. Might start with Easy Winners and go from there.

I'd second the easy winners too.

I'll have a look ok later in the week to see what else we had (2 trombone players here), I can't for a couple of days
