Clarinet help needed, please

Hello.
Any clarinet teachers available over the coming days for some final exam preparation, please? My daughter (age 9) has a grade 2 clarinet exam on Tuesday but has only had lessons in school so with school finishing for the summer, teacher is unavailable to help her fine tune before the exam. If we could have two half hour sessions between now and Tuesday, that would be great. Then we'd also be interested in continuing over the summer but happy to wait till September if unavailable over the summer.
This is Thurrock / Havering / Brentwood area.
Thanks.

Your best bet is to put a plea out on a local Facebook group asking for recommendations or to search on musicteachers.co.uk for someone close to you. My 9-yr-old DD took grade 3 today on a different instrument that she learns at school. She'd been well prepared and I think it's often the case that the lessons stop before the summer exam.

Thanks so much. I'll try the music teachers. Co.uk. I'd never heard of that site. Sounds great. My daughter has been well prepared as well as the school's music teacher is excellent. There is just one tweak needed where she would benefit from practising in the presence of someone who has a clue ie unlike me :-D

Good luck to your daughter.

The time might be as well spent with a good accompanist.

We found a clarinet teacher from music teachers. Co.uk. i didn't realise it could be that easy. We've been to see the teacher and she's back on track... Although we did get feedback that my daughter's sight reading is not great, but she'll pass. Fingers crossed. I wanted her confidence back and that's been achieved.

Re an accompanist, she's rehearsing with one tomorrow and we had rehearsals previously with a couple of accompanists in the past few months.
Thank you all. I really appreciate it.
Thank you, Lewisham Mummy :-)

I'm so pleased you've found someone who could give your daughter a confidence boost; it makes such a difference. I hope Tuesday goes well for her.

I hope your daughter was happy with how her exam went today.

Thank you for checking! She came out smiling :-)
She was confident going in and confident walking out. I could just about hear her during the exam and I know she hit the high notes that she couldn't before so that was a relief!
Results in two weeks so I'll let you know how she got on.

Update.... Results are in and DD got a distinction! I'm so proud but above all, happy for her as she tends to be so hard on herself. Her violin grade 3 results came through and she got a distinction in that as well. Thanks for the suggestions on this thread.
