Where to find Violin lessons

My DD is 7 and is wanting to learn to play violin or piano. I'm thinking violin would be best since we have no space in our house for a piano (ha!) and the cost of a piano Vs a violin.

We are not a musical family and don't really know anyone musical. Where should we start with looking for a teacher? I've had a quick Google for teachers in the local area but not really sure where is best to look or what teacher qualifications I should be looking for etc.

Thank you!

I think you would be better posting in local, or say which area you live in

There may be a Saturday music school locally. There are several near us in N London. There are individual lessons plus orchestras and smaller groups happening too.
