Anyone else feel this is completely ridiculous?
Why on earth can't they just teach them to swim first? Actually swim - a few lengths. Then start messing about with all of the elements.
DD has been going 10months. Only got to Octopus 3 and imo still looks like she's mainly drowning. Yet can do all the jumping off the side etc. I just don't see why they confuse them with all the different strokes. PICK ON AND NAIL IT SURELY?!
Help. Should I move her somewhere that teaches a different scheme? Which are the best schemes? Doesn't help that her swimming teacher told me she thinks STA is crap but she has to follow it (DD loves her which is why I haven't moved her yet)
Any swimming coaches to offer some insight please?
