Hi
Anyone know of any free online story sites? For reading to 5 to 8? I can’t find any good ones 😕

Oxford owls is free I think, not looked at it for ages though so not sure.

Do you have a library near you? All the books are free for children, and a physical book is far nicer to look at than a screen.

Seconding join your local library. Children love going to the library and choosing books, too.

I agree that the library is good ,but if you want on-line stories you could try here worldstories.org.uk/

Thanks. Yes I do and you’re right I should go to the library. Why didn’t I think of that!! I’ve been searching and found www.freechildrenstories.com but not very good. Also found a really cute one talesfromabear.com

Thanks for suggestions. Will check out all.

Going to the library is one of my very best childhood memories, Op. I hope your children love it, too! Smile
