Fundraising ideas

I’m looking for fundraising ideas for DSs football team. Things we’ve looked into have all hit blockers as there are long waiting lists (supermarket packing, shopping centre collecting buckets etc).
Just wondering if anyone has been involved with any success. The boys are 7

Ask directly if any of the parents has a business, so they can 'sponsor' the kit (or even have an advertising banner up at the matches).

How much finding can they need though ? Don't subs cover most things ?
Speaking as treasurer of my dc's football team, it has always been self funding.

We’re desperate for cash! Subs only just covers the basics ie pitch and ref. We need new equipment - balls, bibs, bench, kit, trophies etc

Ask local employers. Ask local newspaper to do an article. And local radio. Ask on local Facebook sites.
