Hello,
how much is a reasonable price to pay for a 30’ piano lesson at school (VA in London)? Time ago I was told £10.00, but I guess that now is more expensive. Many thanks,

I pay £13.50, not in London though.

I pay £15 but am not in London.

30 min one to one private piano lessons £20 here just outside London. I know that you asked regarding lessons at school but if the lessons are one to one there shouldn't be a difference.

You may find it's around £18 for 30 minutes depending on how the lessons are provided. My London borough is a music hub and provides school lessons but I think they have increased fees quite a lot over the past couple of years to cover costs of their building and activities. However, if the school has arranged the teacher independently you may pay less if it's going direct to the teacher - £15-16, probably.

Fleur is right - I think it's closer to £20, than £18 (and a bit more if lessons are at the music centre). Oddly, our private teacher charges a bit less but we go to her so no travel cost, I suppose.

Ours are £10 for 20mins in South Wales
