Warsaw concertos?
Think it sounds harder than it is

Thank you for your suggestions. Both quite dramatic!
I was thinking more dreamy and mellow but also intense, e.g. Chopin's "Raindrop" Prelude, Op 28, No. 15 or Beethoven-Moonlight Sonata (Mvt. 1).

They need to appeal to secondary age kids and people with no music knowledge.

DD is learning Debussy's Arabesque No 1 at the moment - it's not technically difficult (I'd guess at grade 7) and is very accessible.

Minute waltz is great fun and for something a little different maybe something like "The Little Negro" by Debussy... I played that at ALCM but it can be mastered at a lower level.

I love Debussy and Yann Tiersen, beautiful and relatively easy to play.

Was going to add Clair de lune, or for a showy, fast (but easier than it sounds), Pieczonka's Tarantella? It's not dreamy, but secondary kids love it!

Somewhere over the rainbow was an ABRSM exam piece at Grade 6 recently - a really nice arrangement of something that everybody recognises.

The abrsm graded romantic piano books went down well when I was at that stage. Chopin /scriabin preludes. I also had a book called well loved classics- massive yellow bumper of a book with all the crowd pleasers in!
