Guide uniform sizes

My DD is about to move up to Guides after Christmas and Im finding the clothing sizes tricky.

She is fairly tall and slim at nearly 10 and usually wears a size/age 11 or 11-12 in most brands. I wouldn't usually think to buy her age 10 clothing anymore. She has nearly grown out of her Brownies uniform which is size 28".

Does the Guides clothing just progress on, so she should be in a size 30"? When I actually measure her it looks like she would still fit a 24" according to the Guides size guide.

Sorry if I am being feeble.

I don't know how the exact sizing comes up because I'm with Brownies but if you think she's going to stick at it for a couple of years it's probably worth buying one that will accommodate at least the start of the growth spurt?

I'll check what size DD has when she wakes up - she's an average sized 11 year old and I think has size 30 or 32.

She has a size 32 top and a size 30 hoodie. She also says everyone's hoodies are massive Grin

DD (about 145cm and slim) has 30 in both, she has had them for over a year and grown from about 138cm in that time. They weren't massive then but still fit now.

Thank you both SO MUCH! Very very helpful and I appreciate your answers. Grin
