How many children are there in your pool's group swimming lessons?

My DS started lessons this afternoon & I was pleasantly surprised to find there were only 3 in the group lesson. Just wondering what the average is really?

Should be 6. But if they're not at capacity and one or two are ill it can be as little as 3 some weeks. Will yours always be 3 or was that a one off? DS once had a 1:1 with a toddler swimming class that carried on in half terms but everyone except us had older kids to look after or other places to be!

Dd has eight children in her swimming class at the age of seven. There were eight children when she was three years old in the pre school class.

I guess they must be undersubscribed as he was able to start lessons within 10 days
It's nice to be in such a small group but I'm surprised as we're in quite central London
