Does anyone have any experiences of the Rock and Pop Foundation, specifically for group guitar lessons? They are starting to offer lessons at DD1's school and she would like to learn, but I would appreciate any feedback people can give, especially about whether or not you think it is value for money.

I haven't heard of them before, but I've just had a look at their web site, which seems to say all the correct things; and their 'advert' on YouTube, which is noisy and doesn't really tell you anything!

Personally, having been involved in 'informal' music with primary children for over twenty years, I would prefer a broader musical experience than just 'rock and pop', but they may well offer that - I haven't studied the web site in sufficient detail yet.

Find out more from the school, and 'read the small print' if you do go ahead, and note that you are contracted for a specific period of time, if you do join, which is probably legally binding.
