ALDC MasterClass - is it worth going to?

My DDs are huge Dance Moms fans. We are in Ireland, and ALDC are here end of Feb. Tickets go on sale end of this week.

Has anybody attended the ALDC Master Classes held in London last August, or in Manchester, or anyplace else?

DD2 (10) is an intermediate level dancer. I heard there is a 'competition' where people are eliminated over several rounds. Is that the 'fake audition' part? Does this take up much of the 90 minutes of the entire event?

If you are likely to be eliminated in the earlier rounds, is it still worth going to?

Also, are the photos only of pre-determined groups?

Got to make my mind up on whether DD2 can go to the Masterclass, or just to the Meet and Greet... DD1 only interested in Meet and Greet.

My DD attended the masterclass in Manchester. She is 12 and enjoyed it. It was very busy though, and difficult to find enough space to participate fully. I don't think she actually learned much, but she enjoyed watching the ALDC girls, and the UK dance moms girls were there too.

The fake audition and competition are the same thing. Everyone learns some choreography and they keep eliminating people until one is chosen at the end. It takes a while but is quite entertaining.

Thanks tipsycat.
I think I'll stick with meet and greet which is in our City. The Masterclass is about 3 hours away.
Tickets out tomorrow, hopefully I can secure some!

Got my tickets. It's a dance showcase in a decent theatre. As well as Q&A and photos.
