Paintballing for mums?!

Any mums out there ever been paintballing? Would you recommend it? I'm organising for 14yr old son, younger 10 yr old and hubbie to go paintballing for the day soon. Eldest son very keen for me to come too and "share in the experience". I'm concerned I'll slow them all down, be scared of everyone chasing me, get "killed" repeatedly and end up very bruised..are there any upsides I've missed?! thanks

Can't think of anything worse, personally.

Do you think that you might enjoy it? You might surprise yourself with some killer instinct and go on a rampage.

Ow, it really hurts.

And you get bruises like this

A friend of mine went and people thought her DP had been beating her. Seriously.

I did it once, never again. Laser quest or similar is less horrible, as you don't get bruised.

If they want to do a sporty thing with you, how about Go Ape?

its hideous and it hurts! did it once had horrific bruises...never again!

go ape however is fab!

Its great fun! Yes you end up bruised, but the adrenaline takes over at the time so you don't feel it until later! I'd definitely say go.

No thanks. I know of one broken wrist and one broken thumb from paintball.

No way. Too much of a wimp!
