Calling all Guide Guiders

I've been asked to do a St David's Day evening with the local Guide unit, and am looking for ideas. Any suggestions welcomed.

These are just the first things that spring to mind : Make welshcakes , leek soup, flower arranging with daffodils, Tell them the story, sing songs about Dewi sant ?

Welsh cakes I'd thought of. I thought I'd teach them to say Llanfair PG too.

We had a cake decorating competition a couple of years ago. I bought each patrol a victoria sponge (shops own economy range) and a load of that coloured mouldable icing. Their task was to design a cake on the theme of St David's day. The results were pretty amazing - one was turned into a daffodil, one become a dragon. I might do it again this year ...
