Penpals?

Hi
Can anyone suggest a good place to find penpals for my DDs aged 8 and 7 apart from websites that you have to pay for?

Thanks

Most/all? towns are twinned with a European town. Why not google for a school at that town and email them? I'm sure they will have pupils that are keen to have a British penpal from their twinned town.

Do they care where their penfriends come from? If not, you would probably get quite a good response on here if you put a request out. I've seen penfriends requests on mn before and they seemed very popular by the number of responses.

My DD (7 in Oct) would love a pen-friend. I'd happily swap details and give it a go

A brilliant idea. I had loads wheN at school. Bothered used to be a Finnish company that matched you.

DS1 has just started writing to his cousin who conveniently lives in the Netherlands.

Hi, not sure if your still looking 4 a penpal, but my sons 8 and he's really keen to have one, he's been asking me to write a post for ages (probably hasn't realised it involves writing letters not emails lol). If you are then pm me your details.
