I am a new Brownie leader and have been trying to register on the Guiders.co.uk forum for about 3 weeks now and still haven't had the email I need to activate my account. I have sent 3 messages on the "contact us" to the forum moderator and not had a single reply. Is there anyone out there who uses the forum or better still who is a moderator on it and can help me please.

I daren't go near it - I spend enough time on MN as it is! Hope someone comes along soon who can help.

rubygem1 I have PM you to say that I still haven't had an activation email. Any help gratefully received as my young leader daughter not managed to register either.

I'm on there too! Didn't take this long to get an activation email though. I'm a fairly new poster on there so can't really help, but pleased you've got some help already.

I love being a Brownie leader (in training, with only 4 things left to do on my ALQ!)

Sorry to hijack this thread but it seemed silly to start a new one with the same problem! I too have registered with Guiders.co.uk having taken on the Assistant Leadership of a Brownie unit recently, but messages to the 'Contact Us' person, I still haven't had an activation email either.

Can any members help?

Hello. I am a mod on the forum and have just registered on mumsnet to reply (I am also a mum so thought it could be useful too!).

One of our members brought these posts to our attention and we are alerting the administrators to it. Please inbox me your usernames you tried to register with along with the email address you used and I will pass this on to them too.

Please be patient. We have had a lot of technical issues with our server recently and this could have messed up the registration system. Thank you!

Problem with Guiders forum . I have been a member for over 10 years but I had to change computer and lost my password.
I have tried the "forgot password" button several times but each time there is an error message about recaptcha. When I google the site it says there are technical errors and is unavailable. Also tried new registration but that didn't work either
