cubs badges

My DD would like to get some badges but im having a hard time understanding what we have to do.We only joined a few weeks ago and was told to look on the scouts website but to be honest the site is not that helpful.
Can DD pick any of the badges or certain ones.
how do they observe her if its something she will do outside cubs.

She can do any of the activity badges or staged badges listed here She will need to do all the parts. Sometimes she can just take the finished bits into the meeting ofr her leader to look at, or sometimes they may use an outside tester if she needs to demonstrate things. Best to have a look through and decide on one she would like to try, and then have a chat with her leader about how to proceed. Hope she has fun!
