Peloton (reduced price) or Peloton+?

Spin virgin here with serious amount of weight to shift. Friends are evangelical about the Peloton. Should I buy the regular older one now that it’s £1350 or stump up £2k for the Peloton bike plus? Is the price difference worth it for a screen that pivots?! (Amex also has 15% off offer if you spend £1500 or more which either model would exceed once you add accessories).

@Psychonabike Thank you so much for all the information! I'm going to buy a bike next week (well, DH is buying it for me for my birthday!) and I'm so excited now! I've been wanting one for ages but was worried about the cost of the bike and the monthly subscription... but you're right, you're paying for the convenience of a gym class at home. My nearest gym is 20 minutes away on the bus (which are only hourly) so it would be a total pain to get there, never mind finding the time and juggling childcare. I just hope the delivery time isn't too long Grin

You are so welcome @doggyg. I honestly have found it incredibly good value per use. But before I bought it I had no idea how much I would actually use. Didn't think I was that person but it made me into someone who just exercises regularly.

Hope you get a soon delivery date -I don't think its as bad now as it was in lockdown.

Well, I ordered my bike last week but now have to wait until 7th February for it!
