Hi all,

I reckon this is a frivolous thread and most likely already discussed in the past, BUT let's indulge Smile

What type of exercise shapes the female body in the most attractive way in your opinion?

Looking at some female athletes, I love the look of yoga/pilates teachers and ballerinas, with long and lean muscles and graceful bodies.

What do you think?

Thank you for your comments!

I used to row a lot and had very big thighs and was generally quite muscular, then I ran a lot and was much leaner. Now I swim and I have very toned arms. I have no tits but that’s cool because they just get in the way and I beyond caring if that turns men off.

I think any sport a woman is into makes them look attractive. Not because it changes their body shape but because they are empowered and strong and enthused. Generally that comes from doing a sport for enjoyment rather than to change a body shape though.

I should swim more. My ginormous tits make me look fat even when I’m not and when I do get a bit porky I just look like a massive tit! It’s funny really because I’ve literally just got out of the pool but 30 mins of ‘Baby Splash’ hasn’t done anything for me at all.

If done seriously from the time one is young, swimming for men and ballet for women.

Yoga for sure. Though I always reckon they'd be crap at running!

(Ps I do both and excel at neither)

I think female skiers have pretty nice body types, obviously fit and toned but still with curves, and keeping quite a feminine shape. Snowboarders are possibly even better as they don't seem to have quite such big thighs, although they tend to wear bulkier clothes so it's harder to tell.

Interestingly, I recently watched a TV show about pro-cheerleaders in America, the ones who compete in championships in their own right. There were hugely varied body types on the squad, but nearly all the girls had a similar shape in their legs/hips/bum, as I guess this is where they build muscle to generate power for their tumbling etc. So I do think different sports affect the way you look, as well as different body types being good at different sports.

A combo of running, weight lifting and yoga/Pilates. IMO.

I like male swimmers.

Yoga and dance. Long, lean flexible and strong.
Really surprised that people don't want broad shoulders, it's one of the things I think would really improve my body. My best friend is a model and I always love her broad shoulders ( and razor cheekbones). cheekbones
