Running leggings that stay up?

Do they exist? I have umpteen pairs of varying brands but all start to ride down when running. Ok, I do have a bit of a tummy so maybe this is the cause as wobbles when running Confused?

fintress I am short of leg too and have some fantastic fleecy lined leggings with drawstrings from Decathlon which are the perfect length, dead cheap too.
I've got loads of running leggings and they're my fave.

Another short person here - ronhill running legs are perfect fit for me as well :)

But my Decathlon yoga leggings are fabulous !

Thethingswedoforlove · 06/01/2018 22:18

Karrimor stay up well for me

StinkPickle · 06/01/2018 22:19

Tikiboo

They do high waisted ones too that are so comfy!! Plus all tikiboo ones have a drawstring.

Another vote for Sweaty Betty Zero Gravity - or in fact, any from SB.

multivac · 06/01/2018 22:23

I had this problem; bought one of these - and it changed my life!

Tipsntoes · 06/01/2018 22:29

I do love a MN tip and I've made many a purchase after a evening MNetting, but blow me, I didn't know it was possible to spend £95 on running tights Shock

OTOH does anyone want to tell me why I should - some of the prints on the Sweaty Betty ones are lovely....

multivac · 07/01/2018 00:31

Nah. I'd still recommend spending four quid on a running belt....

trixymalixy · 07/01/2018 21:33

Tipsntoes none of my sweaty Betty leggings have cost me more than £30. SB sales are good and I have picked up a couple of pairs BNWT on eBay.

PickleSarnie · 08/01/2018 22:12

Sweaty Betty Zero gravity. Bloody brilliant. I just got my fourth pair for less than half price in the sale - I am far too tight to ever pay full price and I don't care about having "last seasons leggings".

Fintress · 09/01/2018 07:09

@0ellenbrody0 thanks, I’ll have a look at them.

Fintress · 09/01/2018 07:12

I’ve got a running belt but generally use it in the summer months. Right now I wear a wind proof soft shell jacket with pockets. Never noticed the belt keeping my leggings up though!

AuntieStella · 09/01/2018 07:13

I have 2XU compression running tights (bought in sale, as they're expensive but not as expensive as Sweaty Betty)

Compression kit doesn't move on your body! But even if it did, they have drawstrings.

For winter I've got the thicker/windproof ones and they are fantastic

AuntieStella · 09/01/2018 07:16

And I have both a running belt (very like the one linked above) and a Flipbelt terribly comfortable but expensive, (but you can get ones nearly identical but a fraction of the price from Virtual Runner, though they don't have a key clip)

OccasionalNachos · 09/01/2018 07:21

The high-waisted Gymshark ones stay up but they are very long in the leg - I am 5 foot 6 but short legs/long torso & they are always too long for me. The waist bands are sticky (like at the top of holdup stockings) so that helps them stay up too.

I also have several pairs of Nikes & Karrimor leggings with drawstring waists, they are the best

TheDonald · 09/01/2018 07:26

I was surprised at how good the Primark leggings are. They have a drawstring and are quite warm. Can't remember the price but it was under a tenner and they feel like much more expensive brands with good thick fabric.
