𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗜𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁.
Parliamentary petitions are good staging posts along the way but after they are collected, discussed and perhaps debated, they fade away. Nobody gets access to those contacts and the asset is lost. The Register is set up on a permanent basis, with the capacity to take the majority of the country and more.
The contacts will be shared with participating local groups and national organisations. We are building for the long term which we hope will be not too long in the making.
