How does this benefit the likes of Rees Mogg, Johnson etc? I hear it mentioned a lot

There really isn't an easy way to explain how people play the international monetary system. If you are really interested, read about the Asian financial crisis of 1997 and a book called A Fate Worse Than Debt. Neither will tell you about Brexit, but you'll understand the concept of making money from poverty.

Which is why people shouldn't be given a yes/no vote on things that the average person knows nothing about.

And make sure you check out George Soros' role in Brexit and the Asian crisis.

Their investments aren't in pounds, and they can move their stronger foreign currency in when the pound drops to make themselves richer at home.
