I'm not making a song and dance about it. I'm not falling out with anyone over it. I dont want to debate it. I'm just sad about it.

And that's ok.

Anyone else with me?

Just feeling so sad.

Spieluhr · 31/01/2020 23:03

I'm in Scotland in a strongly pro-remain area and there's some "delightful person" setting off fireworks. It makes me ashamed. I didn't expect that. I'm wondering which of my neighbours I should be avoiding. Luckily it only sounds like one person/household.

Eyewhisker · 31/01/2020 23:03

😓 Some assholes have set off some fireworks. They have no shame.

madmother1 · 31/01/2020 23:03

That's it now 🙄

MsTSwift · 31/01/2020 23:03

Watching in the thick of it to drown out reality

Languishingfemale · 31/01/2020 23:04

Just so sad.

Inmyownlittlecorner · 31/01/2020 23:04

Bastard fireworks. Although they were mercifully short.

Sossadtoday · 31/01/2020 23:04

Can't believe it

Usingmyindoorvoice · 31/01/2020 23:04

Some people I love I will never like or respect again.

Roussette · 31/01/2020 23:04

This is all so pathetic. Parliament Square and Nigel Fartage, a non elected MP burbling on a load of crap, singing God Save the Queen on and on, like they couldn't before.

The fun starts now. Brexiteers you own it. You've had your celebrations, this is all down to you now.

katmarie · 31/01/2020 23:05

Someone locally has just set off a bunch of fireworks, I assume in celebration. I cant imagine what's to celebrate. Just very very sad about it all.

Snowy111 · 31/01/2020 23:05

All quiet round my way. No one celebrating.

Quietly sad sums it up.

TheGreatWave · 31/01/2020 23:05

Fireworks a damp squib. Not sure if that is due to lack of enthusiasm or the high winds.

MillieMoodle · 31/01/2020 23:05

Late to this thread but I'm so sad. The end of an era - for so many of us we have never known anything but being part of the EU. I feel sad that so much opportunity has been taken away. What do we gain from being a small island that isn't part of something bigger. Sad

angelsnapper · 31/01/2020 23:06

North of Scotland....no fireworks here thank goodness.

DioneTheDiabolist · 31/01/2020 23:06

When the British government didnt care for me as a child, Europe did. I am and will always be a Euro Child. I am and will always be an EU member.

Tonight I am sad for myself, my children and my country. We have been diminished by terrorists, xenophobes, lying politicians and a right wing media. We were stronger together.

Totally wick.Sad💔

It's a very sad day. I can't believe it's really happened. Going to get my passport renewal in early and hope I get a pink one before they run out.

BlackeyedSusan · 31/01/2020 23:08

We had fireworks. God knows where they set them off from, it is all built up here. Got a good view though, probably for the first time ever. They usually go off in the other direction. There are distant fireworks as well. Not as many as expected.

GorkyMcPorky · 31/01/2020 23:08

I haven't seen a single firework. That's frustrating in its own way - the brexiters couldn't even be arsed to celebrate their empty victory.

SapphireSeptember · 31/01/2020 23:09

Joining in. I keep crying about it. I know there's nothing I can do about it, but I'm still upset. Most of my family and friends were firmly on the Remain side, and we tried our best. Sad

MoonlightMistletoe · 31/01/2020 23:10

I heard fire works very close to me and felt sad hearing them!

UnrulyPig · 31/01/2020 23:10

Drunken twat on SKY. Like something out of the League of Gentlemen, ranting on about his 'freedom'. Revolting.

MrsTerryPratchett · 31/01/2020 23:10

We still ❤️ EU

See you very soon.

DioneTheDiabolist · 31/01/2020 23:11

No fireworks here. Even the DUP are shitting themselves now.

Come up to Scotland! All welcome! We have a better future here...we have straws to grasp to at least.
