What is the story with Boris Johnson and his kids? Superinjunction?

Does anyone know the real situation? My theory is that he has a superinjunction out. Not just a normal injunction that can be reported by the press. My guess (as is everyone else's) that he has his children with his ex-wife and at least a couple with other women.

Let me be clear, I do not care about Boris Johnson's children (otherthan they are safe and happy), in the same way I do not care about Jeremy Corbyn's children. (Does he have any?) Note the press only ask Johnson about the number of his kids. It suggests that they know something that can't be reported.

I do care about a prime minister who uses injunctions. This is a form of censorship that is not available to the average citizen and can be used by companies covering up stuff. They aren't just a legal tool for footballers to hide their affairs. It is extremely worrying if we have a PM who actively uses them himself, especially with Brexit coming up and potential deregulation around environmental, food, safety and working laws.

See this link: www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8394566/Hyper-injunction-stops-you-talking-to-MP.html

BTW not completely relevant, but I believe the fact Boris Johnson had unpaid parking tickets building up in his car prior to being becoming PM was a sign that he believes rules are only for the plebs and not him.

HollowTalk I think it is only brought up as he is alleged to have pressured her into it.

I am no JC fan but at least he appears to a) know how many children he’s fathered and b) acknowledges them/is in their life.

A detailed review of the court case around Boris' out of wedlock daughter
www.theguardian.com/politics/2013/may/21/boris-johnson-fathered-child-affair

The mother wrote about the affair etc in Tatler at the time Hmm

StarbucksSmarterSister · 12/12/2019 17:35

So she let her partner think he was the father? Poor man.

KenDodd · 12/12/2019 17:39

@ListeningQuietly
I don't remember the CP case.

So how would a SI work with regard to the kid? Could the child themselves no tell anyone who their dad was? Would the mother even be allowed to tell them? This is beyond ridiculous. What if the kid posted on social media who their dad was and it went viral? Would they then end up being prosecuted?

I think that nowadays with social media it could not happen

Flora Kaeys was treated abominably by her father
www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/conservative/12120477/The-only-promise-Cecil-Parkinson-ever-kept-never-to-see-his-daughter.html

But in a surreal one, when Aerosmith were filming a video, the singer started flirting with the model Liv Nugent until her mother pointed out that she was not Ted Nugent's daughter, but Steve Tyler's ....

Or Hughie Green's secret daughter, Paula Yates who married Bob Geldof etc .... lots of people knew but it was hushed up

As a PP has already said, imagine you knew BJ in real life, got to know his actual real personality. You would not see him fit to be a school governor.

Also, and I always think this of every person in power. Imagine the person / celebrity you admire most in the world. How would you feel about them if they had this long list of disgraceful behaviours and contempt for, well, basically everything and everyone but themselves.

I imagine Sir David Attenborough. And just think, nope. Wouldn't happen. Because he is a decent man. And we should have the sense to demand that same decency of our politicians. Not least our PM.

@ajandjjmum

Interesting isn't it, that on a thread about the Party Leaders' DC, people can only write about third hand or rumoured info regarding BJ's DC, and yet factual negative information about one of JC's DC is ignored.
It's not a thread about Party Leaders' DC, though, is it. It's a thread about Boris. It says so in the title. HTH.

I can confirm that when Carrie was pregnant with Boris's child
there may or may not have been an incident where Boris impregnanted another woman and had a child with her.(at the same time)
If such a child does exist I can not confirm that Carrie is not not aware of this and has chosen for now to remain with him.
And that there may or may not be an injunction imposed by the courts in London to prevent publication of this.

vera99 · 14/12/2020 16:33

That he is an utterly vile and loathsome creature must surely be beyond doubt now. At least Trump has one good human trait (just one mind you )in that remains close to his children and they seem to 'love' him......

@theanswer20 hereinafter referred to as the 'red wine sofa incident'.

However many children and the way their mothers have been treated by him is an example of his misogyny, to me that is the issue.

I heard this too. If it’s true why can’t the public know what sort of man he is.
Yogatomorrow · 26/12/2020 05:19

It goes to show how ridiculously biased the press is. It was only fairly recently (2010) that Ed Miliband got married to his partner and mother of his children when he was labour leader. He was getting disapproval from the press.

Ultimately, it is nothing to do with marriage or kids. The left are held to much higher or even impossible scrutiny, while the right can do whatever they want, so long as it aligns with the interests of the newspaper owners. I am sure they could destroy Johnson if they wished.
