What is the story with Boris Johnson and his kids? Superinjunction?

Whowantstogotothepark · 10/12/2019 22:59

Does anyone know the real situation? My theory is that he has a superinjunction out. Not just a normal injunction that can be reported by the press. My guess (as is everyone else's) that he has his children with his ex-wife and at least a couple with other women.

Let me be clear, I do not care about Boris Johnson's children (otherthan they are safe and happy), in the same way I do not care about Jeremy Corbyn's children. (Does he have any?) Note the press only ask Johnson about the number of his kids. It suggests that they know something that can't be reported.

I do care about a prime minister who uses injunctions. This is a form of censorship that is not available to the average citizen and can be used by companies covering up stuff. They aren't just a legal tool for footballers to hide their affairs. It is extremely worrying if we have a PM who actively uses them himself, especially with Brexit coming up and potential deregulation around environmental, food, safety and working laws.

See this link: www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8394566/Hyper-injunction-stops-you-talking-to-MP.html

BTW not completely relevant, but I believe the fact Boris Johnson had unpaid parking tickets building up in his car prior to being becoming PM was a sign that he believes rules are only for the plebs and not him.

So.

  1. Anyone can get an injunction (if they are legally entitled to one).
  2. We often have fines building up before paying in one lot (were not above the rules just forgetful).
  3. Jeremy Corbyn does have at least one child from memory (his ex wife left him for refusing to send said child to a private school and this was reported).
  4. I would imagine the situation with BJ is that he just doesn’t know himself how many kids he has
TildaKauskumholm · 12/12/2019 15:05

I think their children should be left out of politics. It seems a bit desperate to bring this up, OP who is clearly a Labour supporter. Good job none of them has ever done anything wrong eh?

ListeningQuietly · 12/12/2019 15:11

Boris Johnson has written newspaper articles slagging off single mothers

while definitely creating one while he was married to somebody else

it is rumoured there are other single mums raising his kids without parental support

THAT is why its an issue

Octothorpe · 12/12/2019 15:12

I read in Private Eye recently that our oh-so-charming Prime Minister once explained to a friend that he had to have so many affairs because he was ‘literally bursting with spunk’.

What can you say, except ‘hand me that 5,000-gallon barrel of bleach, I’m getting into it and I plan to live in it for the rest of my life’?

Utterly disgusting.

ChardonnaysDistantCousin · 12/12/2019 15:28

Good job none of them has ever done anything wrong eh

Yeah, right......

Interesting isn't it, that on a thread about the Party Leaders' DC, people can only write about third hand or rumoured info regarding BJ's DC, and yet factual negative information about one of JC's DC is ignored.

ListeningQuietly · 12/12/2019 15:50

and yet factual negative information about one of JC's DC is ignored.
All three of Jeremy Corbyn's sons were born during his marriage to his second wife
one works for John McDonnell
the other two run businesses
what negative information is being glossed over?

Has Jeremy Corbyn ever written articles slagging off divorce or sons ?

ajandjjmum · 12/12/2019 15:54

Sorry - you must have missed this -

Isn't JC's one son in the process of opening a Cannabis Cafe - supported by his Dad? So he obviously has DC.

So...it was a shop and cafe called the National Hemp Service - abbreviated to NHS. But it went into liquidation at the end of November, to the tune of £100,000, due to bad management according to one investor.

Apparently JC was offering them business advice.

ajandjjmum · 12/12/2019 15:54

No - he tends to concentrate on supporting terrorists.

ListeningQuietly · 12/12/2019 15:59

Do you have any evidence to back up your claims because according to Companies House
beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/11480649/filing-history
The share capital was £2
so no "investor" lost £100,000
a lender or speculator might have told a tabloid newspaper that story though
www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/3429684/

Karwomannghia · 12/12/2019 16:05

Apparently JC was offering business advice is a joke, no?
And this is not about these men’s dc’s poor choices anyway, it’s about their treatment of women.

GCAcademic · 12/12/2019 16:07

people can only write about third hand or rumoured info regarding BJ's DC, and yet factual negative information about one of JC's DC is ignored.

People are attempting to enumerate BJ's kids, not writing negative gossip about them. It's not their fault that he's their father, after all. Same goes for JC's kids. You're the only one on here attempting to post negative information about anyone's kids.

ajandjjmum · 12/12/2019 16:10

The £2 was share capital - investment money is not the same.

From Guido Fawks -

Tommy Corbyn’s National Hemp Service, his “NHS” business selling hemp, a strain of cannabis, from a cafe in Islington North has gone bust. According to the Daily Mail, Jeremy himself was giving Tommy the benefit of his, errr, business expertise for the cafe, “I go there quite often to observe the building work and give my opinion. It’s doing really well. I’ve advised him to not take anything out of the business for as long as he can handle not to. Small business is very important. Don’t take anything out, put your efforts in.” The firm is now in liquidation…

It is not clear why the firm was put into liquidation – losing investors £100,000. One investor, Jeff Ditchfield, who has seen £30,000 from his pension fund go up in smoke reckons “it’s been put into liquidation because of mismanagement by the directors”, Tommy Corbyn and his girlfriend Chloe are the directors.

KenDodd · 12/12/2019 16:11

Would a superinjunction also stop the mother of said children or even the children themselves speaking out?

ajandjjmum · 12/12/2019 16:11

Fair comment GCA.

ListeningQuietly · 12/12/2019 16:13

Guido Fawkes and the Daily Mail are the sources
wow !!!
Nobody put £30k from a pension fund into that business
BECAUSE IT DID NOT SELL SHARES
they are lying.

ListeningQuietly · 12/12/2019 16:15

KenDodd
Superinjunctions are brutal
remember Cecil Parkinson's daughter .....

ajandjjmum · 12/12/2019 16:17

You can invest in a business without buying shares.

ListeningQuietly · 12/12/2019 16:21

Not via a registered pension scheme you can't .....

ajandjjmum · 12/12/2019 16:23

That's probably because it's his personal pension fund, rather than a designated scheme? Or he could be a complete liar, but I've seen nothing to imply that since the liquidation at the end of November.

ListeningQuietly · 12/12/2019 16:26

SIPPs can only invest in certain things
the man is a liar
and as the gazette reports are less than three weeks old
of course you have heard nothing

stop smearing a young businessman

HollowTalk · 12/12/2019 16:34

I'm a Labour voter (though not in favour of Corbyn) and think Boris is a disgusting piece of work, but I'm not happy with your inclusion of his ex girlfriend's abortion on that list. That's her private decision to make and any of us would be aghast at having that sort of information discussed on social media.

mrsmuddlepies · 12/12/2019 16:35

Jeremy Corbyn has three sons with his second wife. He has been married three times. None of the boys attended state comps but went to grammar schools or independent schools as Jeremy did. Third wife is twenty/twenty five years younger than him

ListeningQuietly · 12/12/2019 16:47

I'm not happy with your inclusion of his ex girlfriend's abortion on that list. That's her private decision to make and any of us would be aghast at having that sort of information discussed on social media.
She wrote Newspaper articles about it at the time .....

ajandjjmum · 12/12/2019 16:47

I'm not smearing anyone - these are facts.

I am well aware of the fact that SIPP's and SSAS's can only be invested in permitted investments. But someone's 'pension fund' may not necessarily be a formal entity - it could be a personal pot/ISA put to one side.

On the Companies House website is shows that the company is in liquidation, and that the Directors are owed £70,000 and an 'investor' is owed just over £29,000 - so maybe he isn't a liar after all. Public information.
