We do have a few nice remainers who occasionally hang out here, but sadly, the overwhelming majority have so far dropped nicely into the head tilt category!

And, no one likes us joking, this is all a very serious matter, that we don’t understand (because we are all thick) therefore any of our humour is absolutely verboten, and is, of course, only reserved for the intelligentsia.

Hi entropy I am also a new joiner as of the last week (but been reading for a long time). It would appear there are more of us who are not convinced of direction of travel of the EU but at the same are actually not racist / shitheads / evil / selfish / unable to source fish in the UK (delete as applicable).

Personally I live on the coast and I get all my fish off the local fish stall on the quay, and all of my meat & veg from the farmshop (v lucky in that respect). I'm not aware that there will be a shortage of fishfingers or of bananas after Brexit (although we do seem to be suffering nationally from a shortage of brain cells - where do we source some more)?

Hi back very briefly (always think bad Mumsnet etiquette to disappear completely!) and good vibes to whoever got norovirus because it is horrible!
Been out on the doorstep meeting friendly people who agree with me, open minded people who might change their vote, pleasant leavers who I had a good chat with and won’t vote for my party come what may, people who understandably don’t want to talk politics ; and one person who shouted abuse at me from a window.

I am sorry you all feel so patronised by remainers. Console yourselves that many remainers feel pretty patronised by people who tell them when they raise a brexit issue it will be fine, is a lie or is someone else’s problem.

I won’t be celebrating anything. Just looking forward to a bit more equilibrium in politics, parties settling down and considering what their ethos truly is and a less heated, febrile GE next time.
