First off, comrade Hilda has been busy in the propaganda dept! Praise be to Hilda! The dear leader will appreciate and reward your efforts with a cushy job in the newly opened Ministry of Bullshit. ✊🥀

Specials board.

⭐️ Snacks.

•Salty Bar nuts
(we always have too many)

•Marrow crisps,
I know you all hate them, but we had a glut and needed to do something with them. 🤷🏻‍♀️😬

⭐️ Mains.

A festive choice of...

•’Properly Stuffed’ “Christmas voting” Turkey.

•Festive Glazed Gammons.

•Goose that laid the Gilded socialist egg.

•’Whigs’ in blankets.

•Sauce for the Goose and Sauce for the Gander

•Brussels’ sprouts.
Divisive, yet still popular in some quarters...

•Neeps and tatties.
Grown in Corbyn’s Communist plot and kindly gifted back to us by the SNP.

⭐️Festive Drinks.

•Rebecca’s long Baileys.
Seems nice enough, but can be vicious if you have too much.

•Corbyn’s Victory Gin.
State sanctioned by big brother.

•Bag in, artisan Earl Grey Cocktail.
A Boris election special.

•Red flag Rum.
for the singing socialists among us.

•Egg nog.
Gifted by Trump. Sticks in your throat a bit, but it’s polite to drink it and pretend to half enjoy it anyway.

•The #ClassicDmitri.
Shaken and stirred. A Russian Vodka based Cocktail, shrouded in mystery and intrigue. No one really knows how it came to exist, but all we know is, that it might have happened. Somewhere. And now it’s on the menu. Enjoy!

⭐️Desserts.

•Imported Panettone.
Get it fast, I’m reliably informed we will never ever have it again post Brexit.

•Traditional Christmas pudding.
have a good look for that old fashioned sixpence inside, we might need it when all the money runs out.

•Damson jam steamed pudding.
I’m told by the suppliers, that It’s like the infamous Mumsnet chicken, we can get eleventy billion servings from it and still have more for the freezer.

As always, welcome to all who pass through this place, but, as ever please observe the sign above the bar. If you can’t read it. It says...

DON’T BE A TWAT.

🎄 🌟 🎁 🍸 🥜 🦃 🎅

Dominic Raab- dreamy ?ConfusedYup so prone to being dreamy that the importance of the Dover-Calais crossing for UK trade had escaped his attention. And then so dreaming that he admitted this revelation had only just occurred to him.

One person's dream is another's nightmare.

DustyDiamond · 06/12/2019 21:39

I switched straight over to bbc news channel to see who they were interviewing in spin room & it was Raab, so I stayed watching coz he's a honey 🥰

ajandjjmum · 06/12/2019 21:39

Abbot is too busy at the moment keeping her son out of jail!

That was so much better than the previous debate - Nick Robinson nailed it. And the audience were so much better behaved!

Love Boris jumping in to the audience as quickly as possible afterwards - good people person. Seemed like he went to shake Jezza's hand, and he walked away?

Limer · 06/12/2019 21:39

I'm off out to the pub now Grin

Will discuss with my drinking mates!

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 06/12/2019 21:40

Walkingdeadfangirl · 06/12/2019 21:40

Corbyn still has that dodgy eye, what is that?

DustyDiamond · 06/12/2019 21:41

Chin chin Limer 🥂

He does seem to be a people person (more natural at it than TM)

I thought that about shaking Jezza's hand as well, but it might just have been the camera angle as they both went to Nick briefly

Nick def nailed it

OMG Barry Gardiners initial response was mental, he was trying to start a real fight. I guess he knows when they are dying.

yolofish · 06/12/2019 21:47

I know, given the name of the thread, that you are all pro Brexit... and I've occasionally slunk in for a quick Wine by the fire and met a welcome.

But after tonight's debate, can you honestly tell me that when asked what the punishment should be for politicians who lie to the public/the HoC the 'punishment' should be "to crawl on their hands and knees through the House beating themselves with their own manifesto"?

Because to me that is a) a complete pisstake and b) not remotely funny?

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 06/12/2019 21:50

“OMG Barry Gardiners initial response was mental, he was trying to start a real fight. I guess he knows when they are dying.”

Arrrgghh... I missed this!

Epic, it was the BBC news channel immediately after the debate. So it wont be on catch up.

DustyDiamond · 06/12/2019 21:57

Lol at the 52/48 magic divide yet again...!

Evening Yolo Wine Smile

No idea! I’m not Boris! Grin it was a joke I guess, they are all slippery with the truth, so, I don’t really find it particularly offensive, it was a typical politician avoidance strategy. Seen it time and time again over the years. If it had been a question referencing a specific mistruth and not just a generalised comment about truth from politicians, I would have been more Hmm about it.

Evening Comrades 🌹🚩🌹🚩🌹 6 days to go ! Boris getting into his stride and looking stately tonight 😉
Yolo I 😂😂😂 and thought it was quite funny. I had an image of the whole House of commons crawling around chastising themselves. If it's a Dom Cummings joke its quite clever because most of us know that all politicians lie. 🤔

DustyDiamond · 06/12/2019 22:01

I laughed as well - finish on a joke, I like it 🤷🏻‍♀️

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 06/12/2019 22:01

“Lol at the 52/48 magic divide yet again...!”

It’s weird isn’t it? Like we are stuck in a never ending electoral glitch! 😱😂 Doomed to repeat, until we, wait for it....

Get. Brexit. Done.

GrinGrinGrin

(sorry, couldn’t resist! Yolo, is that you groaning in the back? WinkGrin)

DustyDiamond · 06/12/2019 22:03

It's def proof positive that we're actually in the matrix after all, and it's glitching

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 06/12/2019 22:06

“I had an image of the whole House of commons crawling around chastising themselves.”

Me too! In hair shirts! 😂

Had a quick peek at the 'other' place. They seem to think it has been a BBC conspiracy to fit Corbyn up. I take it from that they were very disappointed at how poorly he did.

GreenishMe · 06/12/2019 22:15

Epic, I don't if you're aware....someone's posted a personal attack on you on the hysteria thread?
