WA and Labour - specific question

My understanding is that the deal is just a simple how we start leaving deal and all the specific trade stuff is still to come (I haven’t actually read it).

So if the WA deal passed, couldn’t we then have a GE, Labour could gain power (in theory) and they could get deals securing workers rights, NHS, environment etc. Is that right?

The WA deal only dooms us if it is passed and the Tories remain in power to make the deals? Is that correct?

not that I'm much expert but I think your assessment is right.

Problem is, if BJ gets this WA thru, he will then trumpet around that he "got Brexit done!". A lot of people will vote for Tories on that logic. Polls (allowing they were very wrong in 2017) currently think Tories will get solid majority in next GE.

Thanks for replying!

I think that Labour could win an election if theirs deal is passed and if they get rid of JC, much like Attlee did after WW2.

But I also know I am an optimist!
