Is half term and I was looking at going to Italy for the week. DH pointed out that it would be Brexit week and we'd be travelling home on 1 November.

Would you go if is that madness??

I'd cut it slightly short and come home on 31st October

I'll be in Ireland with family on Brexit day. Due to return just after.

No flights on the 31st!

We're in Ireland so he's suggested somewhere in Ireland for a holiday or Bath (random!).

Claim asylum and if they won't keep you shove as much Italian food in your bra as possible.

Gallows humour. Actually I would come back early.

To complicate it - or maybe make it easier - we would be flying out if the EU to the EU but three would be flying on British passports and one on an Irish.

Although it could jog me on to gets the kids Irish passports sorted.

You're flying Ireland - Italy - Ireland?

I can't imagine any holdups for your own flight. Perhaps allow extra time at the departure airport in case people trying to fly to Britain are delayed at security.
