Hi All..
As we all know..
Theresa may only resigned because she was not able to do Brexit..
And Boris Johnson(BJ) is appointed only for Brexit. But the Question is
WHAT IF HE TOO FAILS TO DO BREXIT?

I’m not sure I understand the question.

It’s not currently a case of Brexit or not (unless the opposition get their arses in gear, which seems depressingly unlikely). It’s a case of whether we leave with a deal or without one.

We wouldn't be in this mess if the MPs had taken the EU deal, it would have made life better for many people, very few want a No deal, it wasn't great I know, it was better this this mess.

Millions of sick and vulnerable people, EU nationals, students, parents, young people, poor people will all breathe a huge sigh of relief.

"No Brexit" would be another short extension to have a general election on the BJ promise of No Deal versus call the whole thing off.

BJ does not want this, but has more than enought enemies in the Tory Party to make it so, Mister Dayta.

Sooner or later I expect the ERG to come for Johnson if he doesn't appease them.

That won’t happen. It isn’t in the manifesto for a start so they have no mandate to do it.

There is no mandate for NO DEAL Brexit either.

To leave the EU yes, based on the referendum result, but voters were not told that leaving the EU would mean crashing out in a catastrophic way. Were they?

If only indeed. I actually thought Johnson could do it, but when he immeidately started filling his Cabinet with hardliners you realised that he wouldn't. Unless it really all is an elaborate bluff but I can't see it myself.

The best we can hope for is that because he's not bothered about immigration that he amends the red lines and we get to stay in the SM and CU. Most remainers could live with that I think and most leavers wouldn't care. But with the hardliners he has around him I can't see that either.

Parliament will revoke if the only alternative is No Deal, by voting No Confidence in Johnson and backing a caretaker PM (most likely Father of the House Ken Clarke) who will revoke then call a general election and resign.

I cannot understand how the STAY side is as silent as it is, with some exceptions. Just an observation. You would think they would be full on right now.

But maybe they are waiting for Parliament to reconvene after a relaxing break!

I wish, but at the moment, I do not have hope.

I honestly think this is what is going to happen and we have the only person at the helm who could possibly get away with it.
I also think that the vast majority of the UK population will breathe a sigh of relief at never having to hear the word Brexit uttered again and anyone doing so will get the same treatment as someone who insists on going into a bit too much detail about their non life threatening medical condition in polite company

We just want to get on with our lives without another layer of complexity. If Brexit was cancelled in the morning who would be shouting the loudest?

What is it that people see in Nigel Farage aged 55, that excuses him slagging off the dead mother of the 93 year old Monarch of the country he purports to love. Two women who were actually alive during the Blitz, unlike him. She is a sitting duck because he knows she can never respond or retaliate, just so bloody cowardly and unnecessary. @frumpty, I would love it if you are right. However, the No-Deal Brexit is the default, so Johnson would have to take some form of positive action in order to avoid it. Ian not hopeful..

Have wondered the same Outsomnia if it is indeed simple and beneficial to everyone in the UK, why not this minute ? Why this faffing about until the clock runs down again ? The EU have spent years preparing for such a scenario, so the UK must be at least as prepared ?

He wasn't slagging her off. He was saying she was a boozer and a smoker and overweight but she still lived to over a hundred and he hopes the Queen does too. In his own rather naff worldview, being unhealthy and un PC is good because it's the opposite of being woke..

You defending this man with in his own rather naff world view says it all... he is supposed to be a politician with ambition to high office, i'd like to think these sort of people are slightly better read.
