Trying to avoid throwing something at the TV.

2 sisters who are pig farmers who voted Leave who are now wondering about the potential influx of cheap imports and the lack of ability to sell the cuts the UK market doesn’t want to the EU.

Seriously, how did this not occur to them before the vote?

Ultimately there's nothing inherently wrong with referenda - even on complex issues. However they don't really have a defined place in the UKs constitutional setup (in fact in hindsight, we could probably have killed an referendum by insisting they are "unBritish" Hmm).

The other problem is the 2016 referendum wasn't designed to address any issues facing the UK. Only one issue facing the Tory party. Which - once again - we all have to suffer for.
