The really worrying thing behind this is that May’s “deal” isn’t actually a deal at all, it is just a divorce settlement which will then be the starting point for negotiations on a future relationship with the EU (including a trade deal). That’s why they are suddenly all so keen, let Theresa May do all the dirty work and take the blame and then ride in on a white boris bike horse to make the trade deals. However looking at the rogue’s gallery up for selection I think we’ll all be collateral damage in their hard Brexit utopia.
