Will brexit affect my toddlers surgery

My 2 year old is on a waiting list now for much needed surgery in the next couple of months and I'm really worried that brexit is going to affect this. They cant give us a date even though we've been told within 2 months.

I'm so worried that he's going to have to suffer for longer.

Is this a possibility or am I being ott?

I understand you are worried and your personal situation is more important than any Brexit shit. I would say it is unlikely to be affected by Brexit but your best person to speak to is your GP or the consultant that your little one is under.
I wish you well. I won't waste your time telling you not to worry because that's in our job description as parents. Anyone who is vulnerable such as your toddler should be prioritised. I have been trying to encourage people to do what they can to look after themselves to keep out of the way for important cases
