After yesterday, next key date is 12 May : WA approval.

If not passed, then parliament gets to vote over the next 2 days on No Deal or Requesting an Extension.

Confused

12 March Blush

I count votes for elections. Next local election on 2 May. Usually we do day counts (next full day). But this time... we're booked in to start counting at 10pm. Local authority prepared for something bigger than mere local elections.

Sounds like they are preparing for a GE, because that's the one which will start counting as soon as the polls close at 10. But will Parliament allow May to call a GE this time? I hope not - I hope they tell her to sort her own mess out and not waste time.

i don't think we'll get GE on 2 May. Then again, we live in crazy times!

So the Tories want to push through with No deal Brexit and then call a election so someone else has to deal with the consequences. They really are disgraceful

Corse they're not Fedup, why on earth would the Tories want to do that? It's labour that's keen on a general election.
