I'm hoping for a bit of insight from people better informed than me.
When no-deal was something which no sane person would even consider, I booked a holiday to France for Easter this year, expecting that a transition agreement would mean that travel would be ok. Now, obviously, no deal is looking more and more likely. I'll need to make the final payments for the ferry and accommodation soon, or cancel. What would be the risks of going on holiday in mid April in a no-deal scenario? Would I be better to simply cut my losses and cancel the holiday now, and not throw good money after bad?
Second question - we are bursting at the seams in our current house and we're hoping to move this summer. What are people's estimates of what will happen to the housing market over the next few months if we do indeed crash out of the EU?
Sorry for the me me me questions but I'm finding it difficult to make decisions about these things because I feel increasingly panicky about the whole situation!
