What is actually likely to happen in the event of a no-deal brexit?

So, it's looking increasingly likely we may be heading to a no-deal Brexit. What are the realistic likely consequences of this? How worried should I be?

I don't think it's that helpful to use remain/leave labels for May. I think she has two priorities: first and foremost the survival of the Tory party and, second but by some distance, ending freedom of movement.

@jasjas1973 I'm hoping for no brexit as are many others who realise what leaving will mean for the country.

I am flabbergasted at her stubbornness when it comes to not considering another referendum, not ruling out no deal and not considering extending article 30 either. Although maybe her plan is to push things as far as she possibly can before she finally gives in.

The less said about Corbyn the better- now properly acting like a petulant child. A decent opposition would be the way to resolve this mess.

I also agree that May is a Remainer and Corbyn is a Leaver. I think the ultimate conclusion of this is No Brexit and I hope politicians are ready with something better than nyah nyah nyah. Because that has failed.
Another Remainer here in the unusual situation of agreeing with surferjet's perception of May.

May pretended to be remain. If she has-been remain or had an iota of common sense she wouldn't have had all those red lines.

The longer this childish squabbling goes on, the less relevant the decision will be to the EU as they are preparing for leave.
There are no grand plans for the UK to get out of the hole once business has departed.
France has announced it is spending €50 Million on preparations today. When the equivalent of the Daily Fail in France spin that out, what do you think it will do for British popularity?
