Can someone please explain about the amendments... Am trying to follow on the Beeb. I don't understand:
- why amendments are put forward - especially as they are all the opposeite of the actual agreement.
- why only 4 have been chosen
- do the MPs vote on which amendments to keep in or not?
Assuming from the post at 13.09 here that essentially they work their way through 'til one is agreed - disregarding the ones further down?
