Myths about the EU

Haven't seen this posted on here (may have missed it). This is the EU's own list of myths which have been published about it. My personal favourite is "EU to ban bingo callers from using the phrase 'two fat ladies'". A wonderful example that the EU is not a place of grey 'Eurocrats'.

When I watch the European Parliament in action, I find it quite fascinating seeing all the different countries debating, and that this is done respectfully. It's not like the House of Commons, with the jeering and braying.
